About these terms

These draft terms describe participation in HearthSeal, a curated marketplace connecting private homes with home-product and service businesses. They are not a substitute for the specific terms of an accepted offer.

The operating legal entity, legal contact, effective date and governing jurisdiction must be confirmed before these terms are finalized. No arbitration requirement, liability cap or jurisdiction is established by this draft.

Accounts and eligibility

Provide accurate information, protect your sign-in details and submit only material you are authorized to share. A business representative must have authority to act for that business. Reviewers must have permission to participate at the property, including any permissions needed from an owner, landlord or homeowners association.

Account creation, a Pre-check result or payment does not grant admission or guarantee offers. Property type, home size, wealth and follower count are not admission prestige filters.

Applications, membership and credits

The Pre-check is free, recommended and optional. The Reviewer Application has a $49 non-refundable review fee covering manual review and verification. It does not guarantee admission and is never credited toward membership.

If admitted, reviewer membership is a separate $99/year subscription. It renews until canceled. Canceling stops renewal and preserves access through the paid year, subject to account restrictions for policy violations. Required training must also be completed before marketplace participation.

Businesses pay a $299 application review fee and require manual approval. Match credits cost $79 for 20. Sending an offer is free; one credit is consumed only when the reviewer accepts and a match is created. An administrator may explicitly restore a credit through the audited cancellation process.

Any applicable promotion is shown at checkout. Statutory consumer rights are not waived by these terms. This draft does not establish additional refund, credit-expiration or cancellation-fee policies.

Offers and collaboration commitments

Each offer defines the product or service, value, fulfillment, deliverables, schedule, costs, permissions and content usage rights. Reviewers may decline offers. Acceptance creates the shared Match Workspace and commits both parties to the agreed terms.

Makeover Opportunities require a separate application for each project. Selection is based on project fit, not random chance. Selection alone does not activate the collaboration; the reviewer must accept the offer.

Keep messages, shipments, appointments, submitted content, revisions and Help cases in HearthSeal. A delivery address or necessary service details may be shared for fulfillment, not unrelated solicitation.

Honest reviews and permitted revisions

Reviewers do not receive cash payments. Products, services or agreed discounts are exchanged for commitments, never a positive review. Each offer states what the business provides and any associated costs that remain the reviewer’s responsibility before acceptance. Disclose the material connection whenever publishing related content.

A business may request revisions only for factual errors, missing disclosure, missing required format, incomplete submissions or broken files. Requests to suppress criticism or make a review more positive are prohibited. Mutual collaboration ratings remain sealed until both parties submit.

Content and usage rights

Upload only authentic content you created or have permission to use. Pre-check photos must be current photos of the participating home, not borrowed or AI-generated images. HearthSeal may request fresh verification photos.

Uploading content does not automatically transfer ownership to a business or grant blanket advertising rights. Business usage rights must be stated in the campaign or offer and accepted by the reviewer. HearthSeal processes uploaded material to operate, verify and support the collaboration; unrelated promotional use requires permission.

Three layers of photo and content rights (FOR LEGAL REVIEW)

Draft for counsel review, not final. HearthSeal separates three kinds of permission. Platform storage and processing lets HearthSeal store, review and protect what you upload so the service can operate. HearthSeal marketing use is separate and is off unless you grant it. Partner-brand use applies only to specific collaboration content, for a specific offer, under the channels, term, territory, paid or organic use, editing and attribution terms recorded with that content.

Pre-check and application photos stay private. They are not shared with businesses and do not become brand-usable content unless you later choose to use a photo in a collaboration and grant specific rights. Content already licensed under an accepted collaboration stays in that collaboration record so both parties can rely on the agreed terms. Where people or identifiable property appear, a separate likeness or property release may be required.

Safety, service issues and cancellation

Businesses are responsible for describing their products and services accurately and meeting applicable licensing, safety, permit and installation obligations. Reviewers must disclose relevant access constraints and obtain property permissions required by the project. Do not agree to unsafe work.

Report damaged deliveries, missed appointments or disputed obligations through a Help case in the Match Workspace. Either party may request match cancellation; HearthSeal reviews requests and records the outcome. The platform does not replace emergency services or professional legal, building or safety advice.

Misuse and account restrictions

Fraud, impersonation, harassment, privacy violations, unauthorized sharing of home details and review manipulation are prohibited. HearthSeal may investigate, issue warnings or restrict participation, with staff actions recorded in the platform history. Use Help to raise concerns about an account action.

HearthSeal does not guarantee admission, business results, offers, income or partnerships. Any future material changes to final terms must be communicated appropriately; posting this draft does not create a new waiver of your rights.
